Keppie Cashmere Bomber Jacket — Storm Grey

This is a cashmere bomber built for real wear, not the closet. Storm grey is neutral enough to pair with almost anything. 100% cashmere, 2-ply, knit at Hawick Mill with a half-cardigan stitch that gives texture without bulk. The saddle shoulders sit soft, press studs close the front, and a double-ended zip lets you layer it open or sealed. Two hand pockets sit clean. The Milano stitch holds structure through the body so it doesn't slouch or sag after a season. Hand wash and it keeps its nap.

Douglas Button Neck Jumper — Vole Brown, $1,495

The button neck splits the gap between crew and rollneck, which means five buttons let you shift from open-collar casual to layered formal without a wardrobe swap. Vole brown is warm and grounded, never fussy. It's 100% pure cashmere knit at Hawick with the kind of clean line that rewards years of reach. No bulky cuffs, no hem fuss, just fiber and precision. Built from 11-ounce cotton jersey with rubber buttons and twill taping at the placket, this rugby pulls straight from the 1980s J.Crew archive. The relaxed fit moves with ease, while rib trim at the cuffs locks in shape through each wash. A heavier knit than most polos, it sits soft on skin without weight. Pair it with chinos for a sharp look or jeans for casual ease.

Cut from 100% cotton with a point collar, patch pockets with flaps, and a zip closure up the front, this studio jacket has functional button cuffs and an interior pocket for keys and cards. The cotton poplin lining adds weight for layering without feeling stiff, making this one easy to wear over a tee or under a blazer. Inspired by 1990s J.Crew and vintage workwear, it bridges utility and ease. Layer it or wear it solo, sharp with chinos or laid-back with jeans.

Anyone that’s been around TIM for more than a year likely remembers that I used to write once a month about Needles velour tracksuits…. They’ve taken those same designs and applied them to a CORDUROY pant in collaboration with Brooks Brothers, and it’s scrumptious.

This Brooks Brothers collab takes the trouser back to Keizo Shimizu's archive of 1980s pieces and loosens the fit through a wide, relaxed cut. The shell is 100% cotton in parent-and-child corduroy, which layers two wale widths for visual texture and depth. Both brand marks are embroidered in rayon, set against the weave with no apology. Machine wash, and the fabric softens through wear.

Same build as the black, now in a deep wine tone that reads formal or casual by context. The parent-and-child corduroy technique gives the surface a rigged, lived-in quality from day one, and the wide cut sits low on the hip with a roomy thigh. At $328, this is the Needles tax on heritage Americana done right. Sizing runs true; S to L available.

I rabbit holed on corduroys after finding those Needles ones above… these are also extremely nice. Nothing baggy here. Decidedly formal.

Cut from a cotton-stretch comfort cord, the Taura is soft from the start and built for the full day: office, out, weekend wear without change. The slim silhouette sits neat without constriction, and the dark green reads formal or casual by context. Hiltl's signature details carry through: a button with a red thread shank, an eyelet buttonhole with a bartack, and a durable metal zip with a stopper that won't slip. Made in Germany.

Same construction as the dark green, in a soft cream tone that sits between white and pale khaki. The wool white colorway works as a summer formal piece or as a neutral layered over a tee. The cotton blend breathes, the stretch gives you room to move, and the slim fit keeps the line sharp.

Cut from 41% cotton, 25% polyester, 20% recycled wool, and 10% acrylic, this pleated track pant is built for ease. The loose fit through the hip tapers sharply at the hem, a silhouette that reads sharp with a blazer or casual paired with a tee. Single pleat front and a drawstring waist dial in the fit. Two front pockets (one with an internal ticket pocket) and rear welt pockets keep your hands and phone secure. Finished hem, button fly.

Built in a mid-weight wool blend, the Gillespie is a relaxed wide-leg trouser that sits easy without looking slouchy. The herringbone weave, rendered in two tones (brown and cream), gives texture that works in any season. Two slant pockets and rear welt pockets keep the line clean. The width through the leg tapers to an unfinished hem, letting the fabric fall naturally.

Discovered this guy from a random interview I listened to and he’s quite good. Classical composer from the UK that does a lot of TV and film scores, but releases his own music too.

This track simultaneously feels like it belongs in a consequential scene of Succession, a pivotal moment of the Showtime series Counterpart (iykyk), the climax of a Hans Zimmer film score for Chris Nolan, and one of the ridiculous rituals in Midsomar.
