Sabahs, The North Face, Supreme x Barbour, Buck Mason, Levi’s
EDITOR’S NOTE
Spooky Szn begins. NOT Thanksgiving. NOT Christmas. Let Halloween have the full month it deserves.
Anyway, let’s tap into today.
LUXURY
Shearling Slippers
It’s absolutely time to break out shearling Sabahs again. The Fort Worth Brown Shearling Baba is the coziest handmade slipper on the market — period. I have a pair and adore wearing them around the house. This winter-ready, Texas-made coloway features a plush shearling lining and 100% leather sole that gets softer and softer with wear. The upper is crafted from rich brown leather that will develop a unique patina over time like Belgian shoes. With its slip-on design and durable construction, this shoe is simply the best fall slipper.
WORKWEAR
🚨 Nostalgia Alert 🚨
Is this a blast from the past or what?? I’m like… getting emotional. These North Face Retro Denali Jackets were the absolute high watermark of outerwear in middle school. It’s good to see that some brands have held fast to their classics, even when newness and innovation are what we think we want. They’ve added more zippers and pockets than I remember before, and I can’t find the gray color that dominate the cafeteria, but overall, this is a carbon copy of what I could wear every day for an entire fall season as a kid. 15/10!
STREETWEAR
Sorry, whomst?

For exceptionally confused and sartorially indecisive boys, this collaboration between Supreme and Barbour could be for you. The New York streetwear trendsetter teamed up with the monied mainstay of waxed fabrics to do what they each do best: make great outerwear. This varietal got more Supreme than Barbour, but that’s probably for the best. This is lined, insulated, and has both a Barbour zipper and signature corduroy collar. I like this way more than I should…
FORMAL WEAR
Field Coat
Buck Mason's Felted Field Shirt is a rugged overshirt cut from heavyweight felted merino wool. This relaxed take on a 1950s Army field shirt is designed to be worn as a jacket, offering ample room for layering. The wool has been twice boiled, meaning that insulation properties are amplified to create a dense, weather-resistant fabric. With its military-inspired design and robust construction, this shirt is a solid choice for those seeking a warm, durable layer to fit over the top of fancy shirts on the go.
OFFICE WEAR
The Bar
It’s come to my attention that we need the following reminder: unless you’re looking at the $250+ price point for a pair of daily driver jeans, you should just be getting Levi’s 505s. Anything less than 505s and you’re probably buying fast fashion. Anything more than 505s and you really should just be getting the Normie from Ayr. Keep simple that which is simple.
ONE LAST THING
Ugh…
It angers me that Margiela is so on top of the GAT trend right now. And that they’re doing it the right way (read: no branding, just silhouette and material and vibes). They’ve gone a step further than the white GAT replicas I posted about a few weeks ago and made a black elastic pair.
I WANT.
