EDITOR’S NOTE
For once there’s some genuine variety in an edition of TIM! Some knits, some shoes, three different accessories… At long last, an edit that isn’t just all jackets 😂
I CONTAIN MULTITUDES.
Anyway, let’s tap into today.
LUXURY
Two Delicious Brownies
This handloomed baby alpaca sweater comes from small Peruvian workshops where local yarns meet family expertise passed down for years. The brushed texture has a soft hand feel, cut with a slightly cropped and relaxed body that sits just right. Drop shoulders with ribbed cuffs and hemming give shape without being tight.
These technical cargos in corded cotton draw from climbing and military roots with pockets designed for actual use. Hidden velcro waist adjusters, curved back waistband, and stand-up climbing pockets can hold everything from knives to wine bottles. The pleated hip cargo pockets and utility tri-rings at the waist add function without looking overbuilt. Made in India where 18 East has built their partnership over years.
OFFICE WEAR
Cozy Office Flow
This cardigan uses 100% merino wool in a boiled finish that gives structure without being stiff. Made in Vietnam with fabric from Italy, it bridges the gap between sweater and jacket for those in-between office days. The turtleneck collar on a cardigan is an unexpected detail that works when you want something zestier. Layered or solo, the boiled wool will hold its shape.
The Astor wool blend mixes 59% merino with polyamide, cashmere, and elastane for a sweater that moves and breathes. The relaxed fit gives room without looking sloppy, which is important when you need comfort that still looks put together. Made in China with Italian fabric, this hits the sweet spot between luxury materials and everyday wear. The blend means it holds up to regular rotation without pilling or stretching out.
STREETWEAR
Clearance Nike board shoes
The Killshot 2 pairs soft suede with smooth leather on the upper, while a gum rubber outsole adds durability and traction. That gum sole works like the ones on Vans: grippy enough for pushing on a board while still looking clean off it. The ironstone and ivory colorway keeps things neutral enough to wear anywhere. The suede softens and gains vintage character with wear, so these get better as you beat them up.
This ashen slate colorway has the same suede and leather upper with gum rubber sole as its ironstone sibling. The blue-gray tone works with more fits than you'd think, especially with darker denim or black pants. Again, that gum sole makes these capable for skating if you want to put them through their paces. The leather swoosh adds just enough contrast without being loud.
WORKWEAR
Blue-ribbon aprons???
You ever wake up and think, "What I really need is a high-performance, waxed duck canvas apron"?
I don’t either.
Despite that, these are electric. Small-batch duck canvas apron from Omaha screams of thoughtfulness points from the grill master in your life. Consider it.
This BBQ apron uses 10oz waxed canvas that naturally repels water and develops patina with use, paired with removable American leather straps for easy cleaning. Made in small batches at their Omaha studio, the apron has multiple pockets and solid brass hardware that holds up to serious grilling. The waxed canvas wicks away spills while keeping you protected without feeling heavy.

Artifact Bags - This is the ‘slate’ color
FORMAL WEAR
Two Tasteful Glove Options
We’re not going to put our phones away outside, but the weather is getting worse out there nonetheless. Enter these guys…
Crafted of soft cashmere, these gloves have thumb and pointer finger tips that work with smartphones, solving the cold hands versus checking your phone problem. A contrast cuff adds a subtle detail, and at $95 for cashmere gloves that actually let you use your phone, these make sense. Colors include gray, cashmere, navy, and black, so you can match whatever coat you're wearing. About 10 inches long, they cover the wrist gap between coat and hand.
Made from flexible nubuck cowhide with a robust suede feel, these gloves have fleece lining and insulation for cold days. Pre-curved fingers and outward-facing seams make them comfortable from day one, while the ribbed knit cuff keeps cold air out. For those wanting something more refined than basic tech gloves, these bring Swedish craft and materials that age well. This is my pick for the winter season for sure, albeit in black.
ONE LAST THING….
SOTD
I listened to this on repeat while writing today’s edition. 65 minutes of Movements Chapter III.
This song makes me want to take piano lessons.
The whole album is recommended.
As always, thanks for reading!
