FORMAL WEAR

Hiroshi Fujiwara (of Fragment Design) and Cole Haan have joined forces, infusing Japanese precision with American flair in their latest collaboration on the iconic penny loafer. This partnership breathes new life into the tassel style, featuring premium leather, Fragment’s lightning bolt flair, and a fusion of formal and casual elements. Fujiwara's unconventional color schemes and focus on comfort showcase a fresh take on traditional footwear design, appealing to those seeking style with substance. There’s also a full-black version for the New Yorkers.
OFFICE WEAR
Robbery at Theory

Merino wool is the best material to be wearing on a late-winter/early-spring day when temperatures can swing between the 20s and 60s within the same day. Theory, if you’re unfamiliar, is like the editor’s choice or the varsity team of Uniqlo. Both are owned by Fast Retailing, so if you like Uniqlo, you will love Theory. With that, getting this Ribbed Merino Wool Sweater for 70% off is basically like stealing from the storefront…
ONE LAST THING….
Perpetual Conundrum

Courtesy of Frank Muller
My favorite Swiss watchmaker is Franck Muller, and the Perpetual Calendar is the piece I’d get if I ever made it big. That said, its “perpetual” calendar is only guaranteed to spit out the right day, month, and leap years until 2100. I don’t know if my grandson in 2124 would think it’s as cool if it doesn’t live up to its name. This begs the question: what’s the cutoff date to buy one of these bad boys?
