LUXURY
Paul Stuart Clearance
Paul Stuart is a menswear institution in New York on Madison Avenue since 1938. While they specialize in custom tailoring, they do have a regular ready to wear catalog, and the clearance section right now has some gems at prices you won’t see on new items. My standouts were the suede loafers, monk straps, safari jacket, ribbed quarter zip, and full zip wool cardigan.
WORKWEAR
Palace x Reebok Collection
Palace has unveiled an electrifying collaboration with Reebok. The partnership blends Palace's trademark skate style with Reebok's iconic sportswear heritage, resulting in a collection that fits both brands’ molds to a tee. From vibrant sneakers adorned with Palace's signature tri-ferg logo to boldly designed apparel pieces, this capsule epitomizes the fusion of skate culture and athletic aesthetics. As expected, the pullovers slap.
STREETWEAR
Rick Owens x Converse
Rick Owens' sub-label DRKSHDW collaborates with Converse on new colorways "Blonde" and "Concrete" for the DBL DRKSTAR shoes. The colorways have been added to the standard black that kicked off the collaborative partnership and became a slightly more accessible gateway to the geobasket. The new shoes will be available in stores and online starting tomorrow, June 11th.
FORMAL WEAR
Berg & Berg Spring Summer Lookbook
The latest segment of Berg & Berg is the spring/summer look book, showcasing stylish warm-weather looks captured in Palma, Mallorca. Breezy linen shirts, tailored shorts, and lightweight jackets comprise the versatile high summer ensembles. Earthy tones and relaxed silhouettes evoke an effortless yet refined aesthetic for the sunny season.
OFFICE WEAR
Vest With Taste
Here’s an example of how you can step up your style while still satiating your demand to wear a vest. Unlike a boxy Patagonia down vest that can fit a whole backpack underneath it, the Orson Linen Vest from J. McLaughlin fits well. It is made of Italian linen. There is an eye catching plaid print. I think those are horn buttons. It’s possible to take a PEV addiction and turn it into something good thanks to the good people at J. McLaughlin.
ONE LAST THING….
Hanes to sell Champion
Hanes has sold Champion to Authentic Brands Group. Champion’s new daddy is the same company that owns Reebok, Vince, RVCA, QuickSilver, and others. They know a thing or two about taking a known brand and letting it maintain brand identity. I am eager to see if any sort of brand renaissance comes of this, as I’d wager over half of the people who read this have a Champion pullover they feel great in. TIM field correspondents will be following all future developments closely.
