Supreme (obviously) keeps the heat coming with a Spring 2024 eyewear release. Following a Nike SB Darwin Low collab, they’ve unleashed four new frame styles: the Dutch, Cleo, Fuse, and Avon. While not quite as avant-garde as Balenciaga, these '90s-inspired frames are far from boring basics. The mirrored Fuse sports a handy neck strap, the circular Cleo taps into the oversized trend, and the wrap Dutch channels retro vibes. Even the Avon Wayfarer has Supreme's unmistakable flair. Dropping tomorrow, May 11th!

OFFICE WEAR
From the Office to the Function

J. Crew and Japanese streetwear label BEAMS PLUS have teamed up again, this time drawing inspiration from 1950s-60s surf culture. The preppy-meets-coastal collection that works in the office and the function features graphic tees, vintage-inspired blazers, striped jackets, embroidered shorts, and colorful tops. I already bought one of the corduroy caps repping small beach towns. This collab is live on J.Crew's site as of today!

Post Imperial has launched a new collection called "Remnants" that celebrates collaborative storytelling and African craftsmanship. The collection features vibrant textiles made by local Nigerian artisans, blending traditional techniques with modern styles. All pieces are sourced, dyed, and crafted in Nigeria, showcasing the brand's commitment to storied culture.

Rick Owens x Champion

Champion and Rick Owens have launched a new collaborative collection for Summer 2024, featuring sportswear fused with utilitarian styles in black, white, and silver hues. The collection includes mesh designs, loose draping, and co-branded pieces like the Jumbo Windbreaker. Of course there are crowd-favorite drop crotch shorts and pants. The pieces are priced at an inaccessible premium, but the artistry is there!

FORMAL WEAR
Monk Strap Shoes

I’m really warming up to monk strap leather shoes as an alternative to lace-ups. Maybe it’s just the exposure to multiple Italian men wearing these as a daily driver, but a straightforward monk like this one in black calfskin from Suitsupply is increasingly something I’m interested in trying. Prices range greatly in the category, but I’m going to be pressured to pull this trigger the next time I buy a pair of leather shoes.

ONE LAST THING….
Just Awful 2.0

Original Content

In the first edition of Just Awful, a new segment where I roast an outfit I see in the wild, we dissected why a second year banking associate offended me so much. Our 1.0 victim had a PEV (private equity vest), Apple Watch Ultra, and On running shoes. So… you can only imagine the mix of laughter and nausea I had when I walked through midtown to find a 2.0 victim, and found the exact same thing in less than two minutes. You can’t make this stuff up: On runners, PEV, Apple Watch Ultra. Gentlemen, we did not come this far as a species just to come this far. Work is hard, I get it. But please, for the love of God, do something unique with your fits this weekend.
