Martine Rose's SS25 collection debuted at Milan Fashion Week, marked by oversized silhouettes and a Nike TN collaboration. The UK menswear phenom, toward whom we prostrate in deference, showcased structured garments that blend fragility and power. The runway featured strong sportswear, printed tops, and unique detailing like ROSE-branded buckles and "LOCAL HERO" caps.

Lee Riders

Lee, one of the original 19th century denim manufacturers of America alongside Levi’s, has launched its inaugural rigid denim collection. Expanding its "Made in Japan" line, the lineup includes classic silhouettes like the 101 REGULAR and 102 BOOT CUT. The Japanese have really taken over the art of dark wash selvage denim, and the proof is in the pudding. These are not your beater Levi’s, they are truly gorgeous dark wash jeans that have the ability to make many a khaki or chino come across as lacking. The collection also features workwear pieces such as overalls and painter pants.

STREETWEAR
Margiela Vest

A vintage Margiela artisanal hunting vest from the iconic 2001 “010” collection (Spring/Summer 2001) is currently available. This rare piece features oversized armholes, giving it a relaxed fit despite being tagged size small. Only two of these vests have surfaced for sale in the past three years, making it an elusive grail for Margiela enthusiasts. This is a real investment piece, as the Marigela-stans will one day double mortgage a house to get their hands on something like this. (Note: vests are welcome here at TIM, just not PEVs.)

FORMAL WEAR
The Boy Birkin

From the acclaimed Ralph Lauren Purple Label, I present what I like to call the Boy Birkin©️. The Bedford Calfskin Tote is poetry in motion from Ralph Lauren’s luxury sub-brand. Crafted from supple calfskin leather, it features a spacious interior with pockets to organize essentials. The elegant design seamlessly transitions from office to weekend outings, making it a sophisticated choice for the modern gentleman that’s just as versatile as his female foils’ Birkin is.

ONE LAST THING….
Walter Being Walter

I don’t want to hear about a vibrant or colorful piece ever again. Walter van Beirendonck, of the famed Belgian design collective later named the Antwerp 6, put this rainbow cardigan on the runway in his Summer 1997 show, and it’s miraculously on sale right now. Does this thing pop or what?
