Sandro, RRL, Supreme, Crockett & Jones, The Andover Shop

EDITOR’S NOTE

Anyone else let their spending really get the better of them this weekend? I’m looking for some financial hibernation these next few days. Not that today’s pieces will help me with that in any way, shape or form…

Anyway, let’s tap into today.

LUXURY
Zipped Wool Overshirt

Sandro's Dual Pocket Overshirt Jacket is a luxe shacket made of cozy wool. This piece has a pointed collar, long sleeves, and a front zip closure that gives you the optionality of wearing it open to display a shirt or closed and guarded. The two chest pockets anchor such a broad front facade, and the lined interior ensures comfort. I think there’s something to be said about sizing true or even a size down to keep it tight to torso. Bracketing encouraged!

WORKWEAR
RRL Flannel

Thanks to eBay, we’ve got a Double RL Plaid Flannel shirt in XL, perfect for throwing over a hoodie or under a sweater soon. RRL, or Double RL, is a brand under Ralph Lauren that launched in 1993, inspired by the ranch owned by Ralph and Ricky Lauren in Colorado. This line focuses on Americana aesthetics, particularly workwear styles reminiscent of the American West, featuring high-quality denim and bold prints.

STREETWEAR
Supreme Puffer

Box logo fatigue is something I not only understand when it comes to Supreme, it’s something I personally feel. Despite that, the brand does put out great, minimally branded pieces now and then. This Gradient Puffy Puffer Jacket is the definition of Supreme at its best. Tight cuffs to keep the cold out, snap buttons at the collar, down fill to stay warm and a well-executed gradient color scheme that stands out just the right amount. You may love to hate it, but Supreme is still the OG.

FORMAL WEAR
Crockett and Jones Steal

Crockett and Jones, the premier English cobblers that they are, make very expensive footwear… We’re talking the $600-$1000 range. These C&J Penny’s are on eBay now in wonderful condition with about 48 hours left of bidding, and they’re priced below $300 at the time I’m writing this. All C&J shoes have a lifetime warranty to get them re-soled, which means that you can have these for decades and decades. This is a wonderful on ramp for anyone that’s been lurking on the sidelines of the English brand.

OFFICE WEAR
Woven Belt

The Andover Shop's Stretch Web Belt brings some visual interest to your waistline. Made from elastic webbing, this belt provides comfort and flexibility in case you expand a bit over time. The silver-tone buckle adds a touch of polish, while the multicolor webbing makes it capable of pairing with various outfits. Perfect for those who want a belt that moves with them, whether at work or play.

ONE LAST THING….
Margiela Rip off

For those who read or watched the video of last Friday’s update, you’d recognize the tabi toe of this boot. Interesting instance of a runway designer’s taste trickling down into a mass market item like a work boot. Idea stealing goes in both directions!

As always, thanks for reading! Please help spread the word and tap into our socials or Shopmy marketplace.
