Tiger Woods’ New Brand, Palace’s Summer Look Book, and a Brand New Segment!
HOUSEKEEPING
Have a great weekend, folks. I’ll catch you next on Monday evening.
WORKWEAR
Tiger’s Brand Goes Live
The GOAT of Golf has officially got product live-on-site with his new brand, Sun Day Red. You can view the sub-collection “The Hunt” as well as various accessories, my favorite of which is the limited edition ball marker. Interestingly, there is no actual Sunday red tops — which is a massive missed opportunity. The best we get is this polo in “hunter,” which is just a deep salmon. I guess he feared every schmuck sending balls onto adjacent fairways would be in red if they made it available.
STREETWEAR
Palace Summer 2024
It is with great joy for me to announce to you all that the Palace Summer 2024 look book is now live and on sale. If you’ve been a subscriber for at least a month, you know how I feel about this brand… they have more consistency, range and quality than at least 90% of the streetwear market.
LUXURY
Helmut Lang Pre Fall ‘24 Goes Live
Helmut Lang has released its latest Pre-Fall 2024 collection, designed by Peter Do (who also has a great eponymous label). The collection offers versatile everyday pieces for both men and women, free from runway constraints. It includes core items like suits, knitwear, and tailored pants with an edge.
FORMAL WEAR
More Summer Footwear
To dive deeper into the formal summer footwear bag, I like this glossed Derby buckle-up from Vinny’s. You could wear this with our without socks, with a linen trouser or shorts, and it all just feels more interesting than a lace up derby shoe. I still think there’s a place for things like the fisherman’s sandal, but this is easily nice enough to sub in for any scenario in which a lace up is expected.
OFFICE WEAR
Clean New Watches
If you’re not going to invest in a Swiss watch, then it had better be Japanese. Seiko has launched the Presage Style 60's "Elegant Yet Rugged" watch collection that is squarely within the three-digit range, and it’s a nice starter watch for young professionals looking to get into versatile, metal banded timepieces. The watches feature a stainless steel design with a retro '60s aesthetic and modern functions. They are available for pre-order on Seiko's website for $525 each.
ONE LAST THING….
Just Awful 1.0

Original Content
In a new segment titled Just Awful, I bring you truly awful fits I’ve been unlucky enough to see with my own eyes. For Edition 1.0, I saw this on Madison Avenue and 42nd Street at about 6pm. There’s so much wrong here. The Apple Watch Ultra: are we mountaineering, or just putting a timer on how much time can be wasted scrolling Twitter in the bathroom? The vest: you know how I hate the PEV (Private Equity Vest). The shoes are just incorrect. And if you buy pants that tight, you might as well just paint your legs brown or tape brown construction paper to your hamstrings and quads. I had to go over to 5th Ave at the next intersection, lest I keep staring at this accident.
