HOUSEKEEPING
TIM Gets Social

I’m excited to say I’ve launched accounts on both Instagram and Twitter under the handle @TodayinMenswear. Please feel free to follow on the channels you use. The idea is that this brings the content to where you already are, and therefore makes it easier for you to share with potential new readers. Email is going nowhere, this is just an expansion! Anyway… onto today

LUXURY
Auralee Introduction

Auralee is a Japanese fashion brand that has gained a devoted following for its timeless aesthetic and exceptional craftsmanship. The brand uses high-quality raw materials and yarns from Japan and elsewhere to create elegant, effortless, and functional clothing. Recognized as a of the top emerging luxury label, Auralee is known for its attention to detail, with techniques like hand-dyeing and loose-gauge weaves resulting in impeccably constructed pieces. Check out SS24 and FW23 (so dank) collections to get a feel for what they’re doing.

WORKWEAR
Pedrito’s Wax Jacket

This rugged, American-made waxed canvas jacket is a must-have for any guy's closet. The weather-resistant exterior and soft, cozy blanket lining make it a versatile choice, while the interior media pocket and appearance on The Last of Us add extra appeal. If you’re not a banker and don’t go for the Barbour, you can't beat the quality and craftsmanship of this Waxed Trucker Jacket.

STREETWEAR
TNF x Tokyo Design Collective

I know I’ve put North Face®️ in Your Face®️ a lot recently, but they are firing on too many cylinders. Teaming up with Tokyo Design Collective for the first time, they created a capsule focused on functional and comfortable urban apparel. The line features lightweight, airy silhouettes like oversized parkas with a translucent look. It also aims to provide versatile pieces that can be easily styled during warmer months. Who said layering has to die in the spring?

FORMAL WEAR
Ralph’ing

Two words: Chino Suit. Two more: Ralph Lauren. I’d write off a chino suit as clickbait if it was anyone but Ralph, but hot damn does this work (at least on a literal model). I’m not exactly sure when or where you would wear this, and yet I’m drawn to it. It’s like the blondie of men’s suiting: a delicacy not seen at every potluck due to the prevalence of its near cousin, the brownie, so you feel obliged to down one whenever you get the opportunity to. If you take this plunge, obviously get the trouser to match.

OFFICE WEAR
Tough Duffle

Every so often you have to plan an away game at work. When you do, you need a reliable duffle to help you out. The Weekender is Bennett Winch's top bag for 3-day trips or longer travel. It has a smart interior with pockets and compartments, including a padded laptop sleeve and waterproof sections for shoes or gym clothes. The bag looks classic but has all the modern functionality we’ve come to expect.

ONE LAST THING….
Taste Sold Separately

Make sure to never do anything like this!

Have a good weekend, gang. I’ll be in Italy all next week, but still plan on posting. Hopefully I can imbue the newsletter with some Tuscan zest. Till then…
