EDITOR’S NOTE

It’s Friday thennnnn. Short week be damned — Friday is a welcome sight.

Anyway, let’s tap into today.

LUXURY
Acne Scarves

Acne Studios has a series of oversized scarves that are total head-turners. The rectangular design features a fringed edge and a logo patch on the front, adding a palatable touch of brand appeal. Made in Italy from a blend of alpaca, wool, and recycled mohair, this accessory offers both cache and real warmth. The pull-on style makes it easy to wear, perfect for those chilly days when you want to add a pop of color to your outfit. Take a look at all the colorways here.

WORKWEAR
More Techy Trail Shoes

Courtesy of The North Face

Really enjoying the technical footwear niche this week… The North Face unveiled their off trail TR GORE-TEX shoes, a rugged trail runner built for tough terrain. They’ve got a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane to keep feet bone dry, while the forefoot/toe box has literal Kevlar to add strength and grip. The outsole has 5mm lugs slapped on for traction on uneven ground, and the midsole offers cushy support for long walks and runs. With a mix of tech and comfort, these shoes are ready to tackle any muddy paths or LES alleyway.

STREETWEAR
Brain Dead x Adidas Stan Smith

Adidas and Brain Dead teamed up to create a fresh take on the iconic Stan Smith sneaker. The new design features a fuzzy suede upper in a muted beige color, with Brain Dead's logo stamped on the heel tab. Adidas' Three Stripes branding is notably absent, replaced by perforated dots on the sides. The shoe's tongue sports a co-branded patch, while the insole showcases Brain Dead's signature head logo. These bad boys go on sale tomorrow at the Adidas website.

FORMAL WEAR
Cable Knit Szn

We’re just getting warmed up to the cable knit barrage that will be the FW24 Formal Wear category. Ralph Lauren's cable-knit cashmere sweater is a luxe take on the style. All the usual features: a ribbed crew neckline, cuffs, and hem, with the brand's signature cable-knit pattern adorning the body. Made from 100% cashmere, though, this piece offers elevated warmth and softness. This is a refined option for those seeking a high-end sweater to elevate their cold-weather wardrobe.

OFFICE WEAR
Checked Overshirts

Wax London’s Whiting Overshirt in Navy Charlton Check foreshadows your upcoming wardrobe for the cooler months. Made from a heavy recycled cotton, this overshirt features a classic check pattern in navy and brown. Wax London has several dozen overshirts of this exact design with different colors and patterns. It's designed with two chest pockets, horn buttons, and a boxy fit that's perfect for layering. It’s a great option for those looking to add a rugged element to their fall wardrobe at high quality.

ONE LAST THING….
Friendly Fire

Courtesy of NBC New York

I’m bummed that these two aren’t in opposite semifinals, but the fact that an American man will be playing on the second Sunday of the US Open is lit. Americans Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe play at 7pm Eastern tonight. My money’s on a Sinner vs. Tiafoe final, at which point it’s anyone’s game.
