EDITOR’S NOTE
Today I began my day with a cortado and ninety minutes of quiet reading. If I could do that every day, I think I’d be a happy camper…
Anyway, let’s tap into today.
LUXURY
Upscale Mocs
Made in Veneto, Italy from full-grain deer leather, these City Moc boat shoes blend formal and casual wear with their supple, soft build. The leather is unlined and soft which lets the shoe mold to your foot over time. These hit the sweet spot for those who want one shoe that can handle both the boardroom and the boat deck.
The black suede version of Saman Amel's City Moc gives a darker, more urban take on the classic boat shoe shape. Made from ultra-soft calf suede in the same Italian workshop, the shoe has the same rubber soles for grip. The black color makes these more night-ready than their brown leather cousin, working well with dark denim or dress pants.
WORKWEAR
American Workwear!
LC King builds this western jacket from 11.5oz indigo denim made by Mount Vernon Mills, washed low and slow for softness and patina. Double chest flap pockets and side welt pockets at the waist give you storage spots, while the two-needle felled seams add durability. The back yoke seam and one-piece collar keep the classic western look intact. Topped with their signature 1913 antique copper shank buttons, this jacket gets better with every wash and wear.
This black cotton tee takes a playful jab at slim fits with "Saving the World From Skinny Jeans Since 1913" printed on the front. Standard fit 100% cotton build gives a relaxed shape without being sloppy. The LC King logo icon sits on the back for those who know the Bristol, Tennessee brand. Unisex sizing makes this one work across the board for anyone tired of the tight pants trend.
Olivia if you’re reading this, take note.
STREETWEAR
Yardsale London
This denim hoodie brings street edge with its black washed denim build and hood combo. The piece has paneling details and side pockets with a custom pull zipper for a technical touch. Made from sturdy cotton denim that's been treated for softness, it bridges the gap between jacket and sweatshirt. Yardsale's London skate roots show in the relaxed fit and subtle branding approach.
The orange tartan pattern on this full-zip jacket makes a bold statement while the Phantasy custom zipper pull adds signature detail. Paneling on the shoulders and arms creates visual interest while the cotton build keeps it breathable. The stand collar and ribbed cuffs give structure while the woven elastic hem holds the shape. This piece channels Yardsale's Y2K nostalgia.
This white ribbed cotton bucket hat has a jacquard stripe pattern that adds texture without being too loud. Chenille fabric gives it a soft, plush feel that's different from standard, stiff bucket hats. Simple Yardsale embroidery marks the brand without overdoing the logos. One size fits most, making this an easy grab for sunny days or finishing off a fit.
OFFICE WEAR
Light Merino Crewneck
Made from 100% merino wool, this brown crew neck delivers softness and warmth without the itch. The regular fit sits clean through the body while ribbed trim at the neck, cuffs, and hem keeps everything in place. Hand-wash care keeps the wool looking sharp season after season. This is the sweater that works under a blazer Monday and with jeans on Saturday.
The navy version of Reiss's Wessex gives the same merino wool quality in a color that pairs with almost everything. The crew neckline sits just right without being too high or too low, making layering easy. Long sleeves with ribbed cuffs stay put whether you push them up or leave them down. This piece proves that simple, well-made basics are worth the investment.
